Greg James To Host Radio 1 Chart Show

The weekly official chart is to be moved to Friday afternoons for the first time and the show will now be presented by Radio 1’s DJ Greg James.

The switch mirrors a change in the release date for all new music in the UK, which will move from Sunday to Friday as part of a global industry bid to tackle piracy.

Starting in mid-July, the new show will be two hours long, focusing on the top 20, and will be accompanied by a live TV programme broadcast on CBBC.

The chart will now be compiled on Friday mornings, with Radio 1 the first to reveal the latest number one.

Get Your Act Together

Stephen Mulhern is back this Sunday for the 4th installment of Get Your Act Together.

The show has seen some impressive acts take on some even more impressive challenges, and this week will be no different.

This Sunday’s episode sees Claire Richards team up with Black Fire Girls for a fire-eating task,  Nancy Dell’Olio will be mentored by Hans Klok for an illusion trick, TOWIE’s Elliot Wright tries out cyr wheeling, Ann Widdecombe performs with budgies and Oliver Mellor plays music on bottles with the Bottle Boys.

In what promises to be the most exciting episode yet it will be a tough one for the studio audience to decide which celebrity, along with their mentor, has entertained them the most and goes through to the Final. We can’t wait to see who will be able Get Their Act Together this Sunday!

“Naomi and Jourdan – two great British icons, two strong, beautiful women and the two perfect faces for our new campaign. It is, as always, a real privilege to work with them,” said Christopher Bailey, Burberry chief creative and CEO.
